Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center MuseumLocated in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center Museum brings to life the human stories and natural history of one of our nation’s most compelling landscapes. In the Creation Theater, marvel at the geological forces that formed the spectacular gorge. Visitors will also find a 37-foot fishwheel, a working Corliss steam engine, a Lewis and Clark exhibit, a 1917 Curtiss JN-4 bi-plane and local Native American artifacts. Located just 45 minutes east of Portland in the quaint town of Stevenson, Wash. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
